Various 0-5 Volt Pressure Transducers

Bill Jones' Photo Gallery Page 29

Here's what I have as of 12-28-08---note that the prices of any sensor between zero to 100 psi (listed at the bottom of the page)
are now $60 each.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zero to 77 pound sensors ---195 pieces----nomenclature is 1846481    C927212A    with a brass case

- I can sell these for $25 each and include the postage inside the USA

-good thing about these is they use the Honeywell PC15191 pigtails and I'll sell'm for $16 each ----plus $4 to mail'm if they
are purchased separate.

-bad thing about'm is they have a 10mm X 1.0MM male threaded end that requires an O-ring (each sensor has an O-ring).
    -I can machine & thread a brass fitting to have the 10x1.0 recess with the O-ring recess for $5 each
    -These fittings can have either a 1/8"NPT male end or a 1/4"NPT male end.

-If you wanted some other connection I could probably also do that but we'd have to discuss your needs.

ZERO TO 20# pressure / and zero to 15" vacuum---- 150 pieces
-these are similar to a 1bar boost map sensor----except they have a brass threaded case with a 14x1.5MM male O-ring fitting end.
-I can sell these for $25 and include rethreading the fitting end to 1/8"npt male and this $25 will also include the postage to anywhere
in the 48 adjacent USA states.
-They use the Honeywell PC15191 pigtails that I keep in stock for $16 ea.
-the only nomenclature is on the plastic stem for the electrical connection----PPE/PA GF30
-the brass case has a 1" hex  and there is a light circular machined cut about .080" up from the bottom of that hex which could
denote something.

-Tested one sensor to get these numbers----altitude during test is 4200 feet---about 25.75"HG / 12.7psi absolute---so these numbers
 will change slightly--something like 20% with altitude.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zero to about 170# sensors----47 pieces----nomenclature is TI7244C, 5005758, PPE/PA GF30, green dot.
-these also actually show from zero to 21"hg of vacuum when tested at 4200' elevation 25.65" HG absolute----outputs voltages will very
likely change with different altitude.

-These sensors use the Honeywell PC15191 pigtails.

-there is no wrench hex on the sensor body--and no threads. They have a black plastic stem that is 3/8" x .900" long and what looks
like a recess to receive a snap in clamp of some sort---look like they are to pushed into a receptacle that has a 3/8" hole and an
O-ring recess--then is to retained by th eslip in clamp-----photos are available if interested.

-It was easy to thread the OD of the stem with a 3/8-24 die---then made up an adapter fitting out of a piece of hex bar stock with
3/8-24 female threads on one end and 1/8NPT or 1/4npt female on the other end.

-tested one sensor with a zero to 100# leakdown tester----found that it appears these sensors will continue on upwards to an
estimate of 170PSI.

vacuum only sensors
-I have similar sensors that are strictly for vacuum.
-nomenclature on sensors is 021-1033/A     17109AM    6161C  mexico
-threads are 1/8NPT with a thread sealer on the threads, black plastic connector end.
-these sensors are identical to the pressure sensors listed above and use the same PC15191 pigtail except they do not measure
any usable pressure.
-I tested the sensors (at approx.4200' elevation/25.75" HG/12.7psia absolute pressure) with the following results:

1.5psi=.16    (this is an approximate pressure number/definetly a very low pressure)

ZERO TO 700psis SENSORS
- Texas instrument #101HP2-28, JD #AT228298, SN 19-03-06-1090  zero to 700psis sensors.
-psis apparently means that the sensor refers to a standard atmospheric baseline of 14.7psia.
-has a 3 wire roundish oval shaped connector on the end of about 6" worth of wires---to where you could cut the connector off and
use common GM weather pack connectors.
-the fitting end is a #4 AN O-ring-----which is 7/16-24 thread and needs a recess for the O-ring.
-if obtaining a fitting is going to be a problem I can supply a steel or a brass adapter fitting for $20----to connect into a female 1/8 npt
hole.
-tested this at 4200 elevation where the barometer is about 12.6psia
-I have GM weather pack connectors, pins and the rubber seals.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zero to 100psia, ZERO TO 200 PSIS SENSOR and ZERO TO 500 PSIS SENSOR
-I have one new Danfoss AKS 4050 060G1709, one AKS 32  #060G3990 zero to 200 psis
  ----and one AKS 32 #060G3991 zero to 500 psis transmitter (same thing as a sensor).
-these will take any input between 9 to 30VDC (meaning it does NOT need a special 5VDC supply)

-the AKS 32's have a long shielded wire cable--maybe 30ft long with red/black/white wires.
-red connects to a 9 to 30VDC input, black is a common ground, white is listed as a 1VDC to 5VDC output wire,
then there is the braided shield covering-and these wires will need to have some sort of connector.
-Both have a 1/8" male pipe conection.

-The AKS 4050 has a connection end that allows installation of your wiring with 4 pins and accepts any 8-30VDC power supply.
-Pin #1 is the + of the power supply, pin #2 is the negative of the power supply and also is the common negative for the output
signal, pin #3 is + zero to 5vdc output signal, pin #4 is a ground for the housing.

-I have one each at $60 but I haven't tested the AKS 32's yet for output results yet.

-The AKS 4050 tested using a small 9vdc battery as follows:

    0 = 1.50 vdc   (zero is at altitude of about 4200 elevation, 12.7psia or 25.85" hg
  10 = 1.86           ----would be a different curve at any other altitude).
  20 = 2.27
  30 = 2.69
  40 = 3.09
  50 = 3.49
  60 = 3.90
  70 = 4.30
  80 = 4.71
  90 = 5.10
100 = 5.50   (didn't test it any higher to see how high the voltage would go or if it would go up to 9vdc)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ZERO TO 100 CUMMINS SENSORS
-I have 3 odd Cummins sensors---part #4214487----these have a #6 AN O-ring male fitting end--- I haven't found a pigtail for these yet .

-as of 5-1-07 have 3 only at $25 each
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
one-----Odd zero to 400psi pressure sensors---has odd threads of 1/4-18 straight pipe thread and
needs some sort of serious seal at interface--like a chamfered O-ring recess or maybe a flat copper
washer.
-don't remember if this sensor uses a Honeywell pigtail

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ONE-----odd zero to about 400psi like the one above----has male .550" x 18 threads and uses an o-ring.
-This unit accepts the Honeywell pigtail---and was only tested to 100psi

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-the gauges & the voltmeter used to test the sensors are NOT calibrated---just normal shop tools----so these are generalized results.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-I occasionally/rarely find these sensors listed above at a freight surplus store---paid about $3.60 each for'm.
-I will sell any of the above sensors for a twenty dollar bill each-----plus mailing cost per package of $5 in the 48 USA states.

-I also have some of the Honeywell PC15191 pigtails and I'll sell'm for $16 each ----plus $4 to mail'm if they are purchased separate.
-if they are purchased with one or more sensors the postage of the sensor will also cover the pigtail.

-If you are out of the USA the mailing price may be about $8 to $12
-Shipping price of $5 within the USA (and to Ontario Canada) is good for as many as ten sensors in one package.

-I prefer to ship the sensors thru the mail.
-If you want the parts shipped by UPS or Fed EX we'll have to discus that.

-If you are out of the USA then I have to fill out a green customs tag that asks for a short detailed description, allows me to label the
parts as a gift, but I also have to declare a value.
-I will declare the parts as a gift and the value to be $3 each and list the parts as unidentified pressure sensors/freight salvage parts.

-The ONLY WAY I sell these is for me to get paid CASH MONEY up front ----and once I recieve your CASH then I will ship the sensor/s
and/or pigtails to you.
-This means you have to trust me AND your source of delivering your cash money to me----which----the act of sending cash thru the
mail or thru a service like UPS or Fed EX is illegal.

-It takes 8 days and $5 postage for sensors to get to Ontario Canada, several days longer and about $8 to get to Portugal, & nearly
3 full weeks to west Australia and the price of postage is closer to $12
